Last week I had the privilege, along with some members and friends of Meaningful Ageing, to hear our politicians talking about the importance of spirituality, especially as we age.
The context was a special briefing by Meaningful Ageing Australia for the Parliamentary Friends of Ageing and Aged Care in Canberra, hosted by co-chairs Hon Julie Collins MP Shadow Minister for Ageing and Sen Dean Smith. As much as it was a briefing, it was an invitation to consider this tender and vital part of each of us.
