Like many of our members and those engaged in emotional wellbeing and spiritual care, we aim to cultivate environments for older people where conversations hold meaning, where relationships are authentic, and where your connections grow stronger day by day. These cards are designed to help stimulate conversations and are ideal for a multigenerational setting, ideally facilitated by a person in a social environment, within families and communities, volunteering with older people, seniors’ groups and retirement living.

Meaningful Ageing Australia is proud to partner with the team behind RE-CONNECT (based in Queensland, Australia) as an official stockist. RE-CONNECT is a social enterprise that creates products & experiences to help facilitate social connection for healthier lives. RE-CONNECT was established by Nim de Swardt, a Social Entrepreneur, and Nic Vogelpoel, PhD in Public Health, who aim to restore social connection, one conversation at a time. This is their first product.

This first Edition of RE-CONNECT cards is a set of 50 high quality cards in a magnetic clip package that is designed to help engage others in the power of meaningful conversations. The questions are psychology-based, and consumer testing indicated the game resonated most in mature demographics, helping them facilitate more meaningful conversations in a simple and accessible way.

10% of profits of this product also goes towards RE-GATHER, a Community Connection Program that delivers workshops and experiences for communities, companies, events & retreats. The aim of RE-GATHER is to provide opportunities for inclusive social connection that fosters positive and safe relationships.
